What Logistics Looked Like Before 4Shipper

Before implementing 4Shipper, PEBAL’s logistics processes were managed almost entirely manually. Most communication ran through email and phone calls, while key information was stored in multiple Excel spreadsheets. This system was not only time-consuming and difficult to track, but often led to duplication or inconsistent data.

“Every day we were dealing with dozens of emails and phone calls with carriers. Repeatedly checking terms&conditions and carrier availability. These activities drained our logistics team’s energy. On top of that, we lacked a centralized database we could draw on quickly. We also had no reliable reporting,”

This approach soon hit its limits. Processes were slow, the admin workload kept growing, and there was no clear overview of historical data that could support better decision-making.

Expanding the implementation

Looking ahead, PEBAL is considering rolling out the platform to other branches within the group — particularly where transport volumes are higher and the benefits of the platform would be most significant.
